Colorado Farm to Fork competition produces mouth-watering winners

One of the most talked about events at the Capitol has become the Colorado Farm to Fork cooking competition, where the teams up with the American Culinary Federation Chefs Association to celebrate Agriculture Day with amazing dishes.

Here are the winners of this year’s event:

Best All Around
MozzarAngela Salad, with Chef Klaus Krebs, Michelle Persusek with Western Dairy Association and Sen. Angela Giron, D-Pueblo.

First place
Lamb with Red Pepper Aioli, Chef Bob Halloway, Bonnie Brown with Colorado Wool Growers Association, Sen. , D-Brighton.

Second place
Braised Short Ribs, Chef Jason Morse, Terry Frankhauser with Colorado Cattlemen’s Association, Commissioner of Agriculture

Third place
Colorado Potato and Green Chilies Au Gratin, Chef Chris Puter, Jim Ehrlich with Colorado Potato Administrative Committee, Sen. , R-Alamosa, and Rep. , D-Fort Garland.
